The nativity scene shows a stable wall of stone with hay above the heads of the persons in the picture as if it were hanging from a mow. One of the persons in the picture is a child kneeling before Mary and the babe. A lamb is resting on the shoulder of one of the older men. To the left is the shield of faith (Ephesians 6:14) with an equilateral triangle representing the trinity. In the triangle are the Greek letters "chi" with the suggestion of "rho" which are the first two letters of the Greek word Christ. The rose symbol on the right represents the Messianic promise found in Isaiah where it is stated that the desert shall bloom as the rose at the coming of the Kingdom of Rightousness.
