Central Christian Church was initially constructed in 1925. The cathedral style sanctuary was added in 1950. The sanctuary features eight, 15 foot stained glass windows that line the walls of this 30 foot vaulted room. It is a popular site for weddings in Elkhart. Please take a tour of our sanctuary, but to fully experience the beauty of this church, we encourage you to join us for Sunday morning worship service. Throughout the centuries, symbolism has played an important part in the life of the church. Many pictures depicting important events in the life of Jesus are presented in the eight, beautiful, 15 foot stained glass windows that line the sanctuary of Central Christian Church.. The pictures are placed in a center medallion on each nave window with symbols important to Christianity placed in medallions on each side of the center picture.
