
Central Christian Church member, Phil Montieth, studied pastels with Daniel Green, Ben Konis and Larry Blovtis. As well as doing pastels, Phil is self taught in woodcuts (block prints). He is a juried artist member of the Society of American Graphic Artist in New York and a signature member of the Midwest Pastel Society in Palatine, IL. He is also an associate member of the Pastel Society of America, NY, a member of the mid-America Print Counsil, Northern Indiana Artist, South Bend, the Hoosier Salon, Indianapolis, IN and the Elkhart Art League. Phil has won numerous awards in print making, and his work is displayed in the Bayer (Miles) Corporation collection as well as in eight other states.
