Dave Swihart

Our Choir and Music Director, Dave Swihart, has a Bachelor's and Masters's degree in music from Indiana University.  He plays percussion with the Elkhart Municipal Band and works full time at a local music center.  He has a son Robert, a stepdaughter Elizabeth, and lives in Goshen with his wife Mary.

Pastor Mike Wills

Pastor Mike was born in California, and grew up in Nebraska. His wife, Marla, spent her childhood years in Kansas City. Mike received a Master of Divinity Degree from Brite Divinity School at Texas Christian in 1973, and his Doctorate of Ministry in 1982. He served churches in Hope and Oakwood, Illinois, 11 years at First Christian in Burleson, Texas and 17 years at Northwest Christian in Arlington, Texas. He and Marla have 2 children: their son Miles and his wife Becky live in Ft. Worth with their two grandchildren, Nathan and Natalie. Daughter Mindy and her husband Robert are both Disciples pastors settling into a pastorate in Scottsdale, AZ. Marla has a Masters degree in Social Work.

Victoria Pound

Victoria Pound, organist and pianist of Central Christian Church for four years, is trained in classical music and experienced in the traditional music of the church.

"It is said that people may not remember what was played or what the choir sang, but they will remember how they felt when they heard it.  It is my prayer that our music will help people feel the presence of God."
